Now while this might not be the best way to wash your car …

Keeping the paint finish on your vehicle clean and protected regularly is your first line of defense against everyday scuffs and scratches. When your vehicle is clean there is no abrasive grit on the paint surface…a build up of grit and dirt on your paint finish might as well be sand paper!

There are several modern ways to keep your vehicle clean and protected without spending hours on it…

Stay tuned for some great tips on keeping your car, truck, suv clean in record time… well maybe just a taste longer than 30 seconds

In this video I show you how easy and fast it is to keep your exterior plastic and rubber trim looking new AND protect from the harmful effects of the sun and the environment as well. The correct accessories ,correct formula and a few tricks makes it a BREEZE to get the job done fast.

A automotive water based trim dressing is the only safe product that should be used on any synthetic trim on your car.

WARNING: NEVER use a petroleum base product, they can cause damage to synthetic surfaces over time and leave a oily surface that attracts dust and grit.

NOTE: Never use a household cleaning product on any rubber, plastic, vinyl or leather surface. Many have chemicals that can dry out and damage these surfaces. Ammonia based products should NEVER touch anything on your car…and that goes for ammonia based window cleaners, they can damage window film tint.

Please add comments or questions or even tricks you know that you would like to share with everyone.
Enjoy!

This video shows a quick automobile touch up paint technique that can be enhanced with The Ultimate Car Scratch Remover System. The trick to “camouflage” a automobile touch up paint repair is to first prep the area making it as nice as possible then apply the paint with precision and then finally polish lightly again to give the area to good reflectance (very shiny). The high reflectance will help make the automobile touch up paint not stand out when viewed from a normal distance (approx 3 feet) and thus overall “virtually invisible”.

How to touch up auto paint on extremely deep scratches that have penetrated to primer or metal. This video shows how to touch up multiple very deep scratches around a gas door. Always refine and or remove as many clear coat scratches as possible prior to applying touch up paint with a high quality system.

By making the area have good reflectance (shiny) the touch up paint will blend into the area better and not stand out. This is how a PRO would approach this type of repair; Remove as much of the defects (scratches) as possible in the clear coat, then apply touch up paint. Depending on the type of scratch there are a variety of way to apply the paint. I will cover the best way for a long thin scratch in this video. In other videos I will cover different types of touch up paint techniques using the Ultimate Car Scratch Remover System.

How to touch up car paint on extremely deep scratches that have penetrated to primer or metal. Always remove as many clear coat scratches as possible prior to applying touch up paint with a high quality car scratch remover system. Do not apply a glaze or wax sealant at this stage, this is because you will apply paint and you want it to adhere to the scratch void. Glaze and sealant are applied after the paint has fully dried (one to two days).

In other videos I will cover different types of touch up paint techniques while using the Ultimate Car Scratch Remover System.

If you want to remove swirls and spider scratches watch this video about a very easy way to remove them by hand with results rivaling a duel action polishing machine! Swirls and Spider scratches are usually caused by neglecting the paint finish, poor car washing technique or sub standard car wash services. Removing spider scratches and swirls requires a different technique than removing isolated scratches. This spider and swirl remover hand system works in harmony with The Ultimate Car Scratch Remover
